Our ministries help every person “have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10) by upholding dignity, safety, and opportunity for those most at risk.

Inspired by the healing ministry of Jesus the Good Shepherd, we reach out holistically to the sick and vulnerable, tending to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being whether in hospitals, villages, or homes.
Extending compassionate care within the hospital mission, especially for people who are poor or vulnerable.
Community health programs, clinics, and health camps serving urban poor, slum dwellers, and migrants.
Basic healthcare services, health education, and referrals in remote areas, with special care for women and children.
Support for patients and families, including palliative care and emotional or spiritual accompaniment.
Counseling and alternatives for those facing difficult pregnancies or end-of-life situations, honoring the sanctity of life.

At St. Martha's Hospital our sisters accompany families in maternity, pediatric, and emergency wards.

Our residential care ministries express a constant endeavor to promote safety, love, and a home for those in crisis. Each house is a nurturing environment grounded in dignity and respect, whether it serves street-connected children, young mothers, survivors of trafficking, or elders who have no one to accompany them.

Stable housing, tutoring, and care so school-going children from poor socio-economic backgrounds can continue their studies.
Counseling, medical care, and supportive community for young women facing crisis pregnancies or social stigma.

Our focus
From homes for children and unwed mothers to hostels for working women and elders, we accompany people through crisis toward stability and hope. Counselling, education support, legal aid, and reintegration planning are woven into each house.

Social Action Ministry
To empower lives and restore rights.
Through rights-based strategies we stand with Dalit, tribal, and marginalized communities, addressing root causes of injustice and building self-reliance.
Economic Empowerment & Skill Training
Vocational courses for youth and women - tailoring, weaving, carpentry, computer skills - and a skill-training cum production center in Sandanapalya that generates local livelihoods.
Women's Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
Savings, micro-credit, and solidarity groups with awareness sessions on women's rights, legal literacy, health and hygiene, leadership, and advocacy against child marriage and trafficking.
Anti-Human Trafficking & Safe Migration
Prevention through education, collaboration with networks like AMRAT, rescue and rehabilitation with partners, and advocacy to combat exploitation and support survivors.
Advocacy & Legal Action
Campaigns for policies that protect domestic workers, women, and marginalized communities - advocacy, legal aid, and linkages to welfare schemes.

Integrated development in villages and urban neighborhoods using the Neighborhood Community Network model to build local leadership and collective action.
